Domingo Casamian-Sorrosal – Publication

Congratulations to our head of Cardiology and Cardiopulmonary Service Domingo Casamian-Sorrosal who was author of two scientific papers this month in collaboration with colleagues from the University of Bristol and the University of Guelph (Canada). The first study looked into the use of a novel and promising cardiac biomarker (heart-fatty acid binding protein) in dogs with dilated cardiomyopathy and mitral valve disease. The second study was a novel study describing the anomalies and anatomical variations of the great thoracic vessels in dogs and provides important information for interventional cardiologists.
