Southfields helps save Canadian Dog!

Piper the lovely Labrador unfortunately suffered seven episodes of collapse at home and then two more once she arrived at the Alta Vista Animal Hospital in Ottawa. Jacques Sottiaux the cardiologist in charge of Piper’s case, also our old cardiologist, performed a pacemaker implantation, with the help of VRCC who supplied our pacemaker for the procedure. During the implantation, Piper’s heart stopped and thankfully was restarted with a thump of the chest.
We can now say that Piper has made an excellent recovery. We wish Piper all the best for a long happy future.
